Self Catering Holiday Accommodation at Bodilly Manor Nr Helston
There are two rural holiday cottages available, Poldark and Wheal Rose cottages,
set within the grounds of the historic 15th. century Bodilly Manor. The
accommodation is the result of the sympathetic conversion of a 200 year
old Cornish granite barn and the adjacent garden has been newly planted
with a wide variety of sub-tropical plants including bananas, aloes, agarve
palms and echiums. In addition to the accommodation we offer holiday makers
storage for beach and water sports equipment as part of our all inclusive
pricing.
Heating for both Holiday Cottages is via oil fired central heating and hot
water is provided by emersion heater both of which are included in our pricing.
On arrival at Bodilly Manor
You will be met by the owners in the Manor House and receive your complimentary
welcome hamper containing tea, coffee, milk, cereal, bread, butter, eggs,
bacon, sausage and a bottle of wine. The accommodation will have been thoroughly
prepared including fresh flowers in the lounge and will contain sufficient
bedding,china and glassware for 4 or 6 people. Please note that the only
items we do not supply in your accommodation are towels.
Poldark holiday cottage accommodation sleeping 6 people.
Ground floor accommodation consists of 1 bedroom with a double bed, 1 bedroom
with twin single beds and a very comfortable double sofa bed in the
living area plus a bathroom which has an electric shower over the
bath.
First floor accommodation consists of a fully equipped kitchen with electric
cooker, microwave, fridge and compact freezer. The dining area has a table
and four chairs. There is a large lounge with vaulted ceiling and exposed
timbers furnished with comfortable sofa's, arm chairs, TV, Freeview Box,
DVD Player, side tables etc. Off the lounge is a south facing balcony.
Wheal Rose holiday cottage accommodates 6 people.
Ground floor consists of 1 bedroom with a double bed, 1 bedroom with twin
single beds and a bathroom which also has an electric shower over the bath.
First floor accommodation consists of fully equipped kitchen area with electric
cooker, microwave and fridge. Dining area with table and four chairs. A
large lounge with vaulted ceiling and exposed timbers furnished with comfortable
sofa's one of which is a double sofa bed, arm chairs, TV, side tables etc.

Bodilly Manor and it's Holiday Cottages is situated in a small Hamlet amidst
a cluster of working Farms. For the discerning family who are not interested
in the traditional Holiday Park Hullabaloo, this is an almost unique haven
away from the hustle and bustle of main holiday resorts.
Children Welcome
Children love the isolation and rural setting of Bodilly and enjoy rambling
across rolling countryside along nearby Bridal Paths. If your children are
from an urban environment, this is an excellent location to show them what
the countryside is all about and the adjacent working farms could be an
education in themselves.

Any keen photographer will be really spoilt while on holiday at Bodilly
