Dog friendly Holiday Cottages at Bodilly Manor near Helston in Cornwall UK

Dogs on Holiday in the Safe Yard AreaBodilly Manor with it's Dog Friendly Holiday Cottages is in the heart of traditional Cornish farming countryside. Our nearest main road, the B3297, is about 1 mile away. Bodilly is tucked away down a lovely ancient cornish lane and the only rush hour traffic is the cows on their way to the local milking parlor.

Whilst in general we do not place restrictions on the number of dogs you may bring on your holiday at Bodilly Manor, it is always advisable to discuss your needs when you make your booking enquiry.

Please feel reassured you and your canine friend(s) will be warmly welcomed at Bodilly Manor holiday cottages.

For those guests bringing their dogs, we consider this to be your dog's holiday as well as their owners. Once the pedestrian gate at the side of the cottages is closed our entire land, some 5 acres, is enclosed. You and your dog are then more than welcome to roam freely where the only "out of bounds" areas are a couple of barns (doors always kept shut).

While you and your Dog are Holidaying with us, you are welcome (encouraged) to make full use of our stock proof 2.75 acre field to run and play with your canine friend/s. The field is lovely in the summer and has pathways cut through the wild grasses and flowers leading to mown areas for you to enjoy our lovely balmy summer evenings, or maybe having a picnic whilst soaking up the peace and tranquility which is Bodilly. Just why so many of our guests return year after year bring their dogs on holiday to our Rural Cornish Cottages.

Your dog is also welcome to use the same facilities as the Blenkarn Cocker Spaniels. A dog shower, should your dog have an enjoyably muddy time somewhere, is available. A washing machine for dog towels etc. is also on site.

At Bodilly Manor Holiday Cottages, we always provide a beach guide for dog owners listing dog friendly beaches locally and further afield. We are also able provide a guide to dog friendly pubs along with advice on local Beers and Pub Grub.

Unlike many holiday properties we do not make any additional charge for you to bring your dog.

Sparkle, our Cocker Spaniel in residence (and part of the welcoming committee!) has made many new friends including: Gordon Setters, Red setters, Golden Retrievers, Basset Hounds, Poodles, various Terriers, Whippets, Border Collies, various other breeds of Spaniels, Labradors, Greyhounds, and Dobermans, to name but a few. (I am sure if she could, her Christmas card list would be as long as ours - to say nothing of her phone bill!!).

Throughout your Holiday with your Dog in Our Self Catering Cottages, we will endeavour to make your stay as enjoyable as possible hoping you will join the growing number of returning clients each year.
